Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Nadwi
Dr. Mohammad Abdullah Nadwi is a distinguished scholar in Islamic banking, finance, and social finance with extensive global experience as a senior Shariah advisor and consultant. He holds a PhD in Islamic Banking, Finance, and Management from the University of Gloucestershire, where his doctoral research focused on the jurisprudence of Waqf (Fiqh al-Awqaf) and its socio-economic role compared with the English trust system.
As a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA, AAOIFI), Dr. Nadwi has advised leading institutions such as Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Habib Bank AG Zurich, specializing in Shariah governance, Waqf studies, Sukuk structuring, and Islamic social finance. His research and publications on Waqf and governance frameworks have shaped discourse on poverty alleviation and ethical investment.
